Have you ever experienced a joyful moment, only to find it being replaced with an empty, hollow feeling... as though there was something you used to know, but have now forgotten?

This feeling nagged at my consciousness for many years. For me, it was appeased somewhat by writing or telling 'make-believe' stories, and that is how I eased the barren feeling in my soul-- by writing daring, sometimes dashing, but rarely boring tales of one thing or another. I was always on my Quest for Knowledge, with a yearning born of loss, of empty, of not-quite-fitting-in. This has led me on a Search for Truth.

One of my favorite Zen sayings:
If you Understand, Truth is what is so.
If you do not Understand, Truth is what is so.

Have fun reading through my various bits and pieces of Growing, which is what I've finally realized are my writings. Perhaps they will also Speak to your own soul... Which, by the way, is also Part of my soul… if you Understand…

This marvelous creature came to life almost from the very first beads, because I began with his eyes. From that point on, my only involvement was in placing the beads where they needed to go; Jaguar did the guiding.

In this photo taken by Adam, he is not quite finished, but still, he is beautiful. He is very much his own Aspect self.
